Seen one of our trucks and want to know more?

You’ll see the name of each truck on the cab above the driver.  Our ‘Solis’ fleet are mostly moving grain (wheat, barley and oilseed rape) or vegetables.  This will typically be from farms or centralised storage to the mills and processing sites of some of the biggest food and drinks brands in the UK. Our routes are varied but mainly focused on the East of England, so if you are near Peterborough, Kings Lynn, Corby, Wellingborough or Grantham then keep your eyes peeled.

Our trailers are pulled by electric 4x2 tractors.  That means they have 2 axles on the front rather than the 3 that you will see on some trucks, giving us more space for the battery!  Each truck has 540 kWh of installed battery capacity (that's the equivalent of about 7 cars) along with 666hp (that's huge!), allowing them to achieve a range of 150 - 170 miles on a full charge. The power they have means they are easily equipped to pull specially adapted tipping trailers that have been designed to achieve a payload of around 24 tonnes.

A typical diesel articulated truck will produce up to 100 tonnes of carbon every year in addition to other harmful gases. We are proud to be helping lead the future of transportation with our state-of-the-art fleet and are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of the transport industry. Our cutting-edge vehicles and charging network showcase our dedication to sustainable logistics without compromising efficiency, proving that sustainability and success can seamlessly coexist on the road.
